What’s included in the plans?
Plans include 3D renders, dimensioned floorplans, elevations, sections, electrical and plumbing layouts along with framing plans, and interior details including joinery.
What format are the plans delivered in?
The plans are delivered electronically in PDF format
Do I get a physical copy of the plans?
No, the plans are delivered only in PDF electronic format. If you require a physical copy, the best option would be to arrange printing at your local print centre.
Do these plans meet local building codes?
A tiny house on wheels is typically classified as an RV (caravan) and is generally not considered a permanent structure. While our plans provide a basis for building, we recommend consulting your local authority to ensure compliance with specific local requirements.
Who are Tiny Tect?
Tiny Tect – TINY Houses Big ArchiTECTure was created by husband and wife team, Ben & Alison.
With Alison’s 20+ years of architectural experience designing award-winning residential projects both in Australia and internationally, and Ben’s expertise in marketing and construction management, they combined their talents to create Tiny Tect Tiny Houses.
After their success building beautifully designed and unique tiny houses in Australia and after multiple requests for floorplans from the USA, Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond, the Tiny Tect team have launched Tiny Tect Floorplans.
Does Tiny Tect build homes?
The team at Tiny Tect currently build their tiny house models for clients in Australia. See our Australian website tinyhousestinytect.com.au

Are these plans suitable for DIYers?
We have created Tiny Tect plans so that a greater number of people can have access to our unique designs. We suggest that your either collaborate with building professionals or that you have a sound level of building experience, due to the intricacies and detailed nature of constructing a building.
Why should I buy my plans from you?
Tiny Tect was co-founded by an award winning architect to create incredibly unique and functional designs. With years of experience behind the team, the designs have been built, tried, tested and improved to give you inspiring and exciting designs that you can live in and truly enjoy.
Are the plans stamped/certified?
All our plans are currently for tiny houses on wheels. As such, generally they are legally classified as an RV (Caravan) and typically do not require any certification of plans. However, these plans are of a general nature and you need to consult with your local authority to ensure you are complying with all local requirements including any certification requirements.
What's your return policy?
Due to the nature of our digital plans, there is a no-return policy on all our plans but we are more than happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Are these plans compatible with off-grid living?
Yes, a tiny house on wheels can be adapted for off-grid living and plugged into an off-grid power source.
